Following the Los Tigres del Norte Tiny Desk controversy, NPR has finally gone on the record.

Last week, social media was on fire after Felix Contreras’ opening remarks were removed during El Tiny, the Alt.Latino takeover of the famed Tiny Desk series. The remarks were restored after a firestorm of criticism. A week later, NPR Public Editor Kelly McBride pulled back the curtain on the mess.
